About the Team
The Carlisle Rush are the development team for the Harrisburg Railers. They are one level below NHL, and this is where some stars of the future will play to hone their skills. Others will only ever reach the AHL level. AHL teams are often fragmented the nearer the end of season they get – this is because their connected NHL team can call up players to cover injuries on the major team.
