Christmas Promises

When the world falls from beneath his feet, Levi escapes pitying glances and awkward questions by renting a cabin in Big Bear. When his old flame, James, turns up on his doorstep, the promise they made to stay apart is shattered, and somehow love takes hold.

Five years ago, sniping and competing turned to passion when Levi and James kissed. Only eighteen, they had their whole lives ahead of them, but hockey was everything and when they were drafted to different sides of the country, they knew it could go no further, and promised their relationship would end, and would never be mentioned again.

But when cancer strikes, Levi faces uncertain times as his career crumbles and his life is turned upside down. There is only one thing he’s certain of, and that is he doesn’t need James or the promise he made to come back in his life. Right?
